Blu got his 2016 campaign started in May with LA Counting — an EP with Union Analogtronics, a French production duo featuring the title track and a bunch of remixes of it. Since, he’s released another project with Nottz — Titans In The Flesh — and part six of his soul amazing compilation series. He’s also announced a project with Fa†e, Open Your Eyes To Optomism, with the lead single “Otionography.”
And if you thought that was enough of the West Coast legend, he’s now dropping a full-length album with Union Analogtronics on November 4 called Cheetah In The City. (You can see the artwork above, but I’m pretty sure that’s a tiger and not a cheetah. There’s my #wellactually for the day. Maybe a cheetah couldn’t quite fit in the photoshoot budget.)
The first single from the album comes with form of “City Dreams” featuring Olivier DaySoul on the hook as Blu spits with his routine wit and confidence over the theatric, sample-based production.
