Now I know I mentioned Fifty Shades Darker — the sequel to 2015’s Fifty Shades Of Grey — in the headline, but that’s only to explain where and in what context Miguel covered Beyoncé‘s “Crazy In Love” — we’re interested far more in the music here than the impending sexual aggression between the two lead characters.

The last movie featured The Weeknd’s “Earned It,” one of the biggest hits of his career, and, at the very least, the film series seems to get good music to fit the bedroom mood rampant throughout the movies and books.

Miguel performs a stripped-down version of “Crazy In Love” in the trailer, reminding me a little of when Beyoncé and André 3000 covered Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black” for The Great Gatsby.

Watch the trailer below for a sample of Miguel’s cover.
