It’s been a while since we’ve heard new creative stylings from Irish rapper Rejjie Snow. He was on a roll at the end of last year into 2016 with songs like “Blakkst Skn” and “Keep Your Head Up,” but he returned back into the gopher hole over the spring and summer.
He popped his head up today, though, with “D.R.U.G.S.” The lighthearted and relaxing tones of the beat, produced by Rahki, are contrasted by Snow’s lyrics of how drug exploration — of both actual drugs and the drug of love — crippled a relationship.
Snow has been working on his debut album for nearly three years now, and there’s no indication it’ll come out any time soon. So in the meantime, dabble in some “D.R.U.G.S.” below.
