Vince Staples, Nas & Kevin Durant Were Guests On HBO’s ‘Any Given Wednesday’

Since leaving ESPN — as well as the shuttering of Grantland in 2015 — sports columnist and anchor Bill Simmons debuted his new show Any Given Wednesday in 2016 to widespread praise. Known for incorporating hip hop culture into his work, Simmons invited both Nas and Kevin Durant to his show for a joint interview.

During their sit-down, the two connection between rivalries in rap and in basketball, as well as KD’s eventual relocation from the OKC Thunder to the Golden State Warriors during the 2016 NBA off-season and his current standing with former teammate Russell Westbrook. Nas and Kevin also answer various hypotheticals, like if Nas could be able to go back in time and talk to 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G mid-beef, Shaq getting Big on You Can’t Stop the Reign, and more.

Vince Staples popped in as well, and he and Bill cracked jokes on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the New England Patriots.
