I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty much over all of the rap beef that ended the summer sixteen.

Lil Wayne’s ongoing issues with Birdman keeps getting uglier and uglier. Then, Joe Budden dissed Wayne’s ward Drake on wax multiple times . Meanwhile, Drake’s 2015 nemesis Meek Mill set his sights on The Game with some help from Beanie Sigel… and Sean Kingston.

But, wait; there’s more!

The Game responded back to all tree of them with his own diss track, and revealed that the root of the issue stems from miscommunication.

Keep going? Sure!

KiD CuDi took aim at both Drake and Kanye West, and each one responded in kind. Well, that is until Kanye West had a change of heart and extended an olive branch to his former G.O.O.D. Music protégé.

All of this was said because, basically, an album like the Robert Glasper Experiment‘s ArtScience is needed for all of our souls right now. A 12-track and jazz-fueled project, the album is a well-needed distraction from, well, everything.
