Yesterday, Chance the Rapper brought it back full circle with his massive Magnificent Color Day music festival, held at the U.S. Cellular Field in the Windy City.
The day’s event (which was broadcast live on TIDAL — if you have a subscription, of course) was highlighted by guest performances from the likes of John Legend, Alicia Keys, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, Skrillex, Young Thug and Francis and the Lights, each churning out applause-worthy performances.
However, it was when Chano brought out a visibly exited and happy Kanye West which really drove the 40K packed stadium into a frenzy.
During his surprise performance, Kanye — who was on his way to the Nashville, TN stop of his Saint Pablo Tour — rocked “All Falls Down,” “Gold Digger,” “Father Stretch My Hands,” “Touch the Sky” and the riot-inducing “All Day” before enlisting Chance’s help for a performance of “Ultralight Beam.”
