BANKS Leaves Her Feelings At ‘The Altar’ On New Album

The raw emotion BANKS has shown on The Altar‘s first four singles has come in many forms.

At times, she’s aggressive, confident and seemingly in control of the pain caused from recent heartbreak (“Fuck With Myself,” “Gemini Feed“). And then there’s moments where the betrayal is so overwhelming, she let’s the instrumentals and longer, drawn-out vocals reveal the pain (“To The Hilt“).

But with every release (including “Mind Games“), it’s become clear the Cali singer/songwriter has needed to get some shit off her chest — and less as lashing out toward someone who broke her heart, but more so the heart can heal.

She comes ready to do so as she navigates the 13 tracks of The Altar by herself.
