Like him or not, it’s difficult to undervalue how organic Russ was able to go from zero fans to touring the world. It largely came from a heavy output of self-produced and self-mixed music to pair with a solid work ethic. But there are still people who doubt and laugh at Russ for accomplishing something, namely making money.
So the content of his music has recently had him laughing back at those type of people, and that continues on “Look.”
“Look at me work, look at me prosper, look at me make it out, look at me glow,” he raps on the hook while asking the doubters to “look at yo’ life” — making you think about what you’ve accomplished by celebrating himself.
