Although she is currently busy with her new role as a judge on NBC’s The Voice, Alicia Keys ‘ new job hasn’t stopped her from doing her first: releasing music herself.
Keys returned to action, following a brief hiatus, with “In Common” (which has since been remixed by Kanye West and Travi$ Scott) and “Back To Life.” She will now debut her third song from her forthcoming sixth album HERE (out November 4th), “Blended Family (What You Do For Love),” on iTunes tonight at midnight (October 7th).
“The understanding, compassion and support we’ve found is a powerful testament to the healing that comes when we choose love,” Keys said when describing the song. “Especially for the kids… the most important part of our lives. Celebrating Mashonda for our commitment to each other with support and true growth.”
Guest-starring A$AP Rocky, the song — which touches upon Keys’ unconventional family (she is the mother of two of Swizz Beatz’ four children) debuted earlier on a French radio station. That song can be heard below.
