Netflix’ Luke Cage has earned high praise since its debut on September 30th debut, and it sometimes pays homage to the 90s cop drama New York Undercover by having guest musicians “perform” at the nightclub of Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes.
Throughout the series the likes of Charles Bradley, Faith Evans, Raphael Saadiq and Jidenna make cameo appearances. The latter, who performed his single “Long Live The Chief,” has that performance turned into a (new) set of visuals for the song, which splices in footage of the show throughout. Watch below.
