Inglewood native SiR has been on the DopeHouse’s radar following the release of his debut album Seven Sundays in 2015. A eclectic, soulful standout from a city that is known to breed hardcore rappers (Tyra Banks was born in Inglewood, though), SiR’s music is more SZA than Mack 10.

He has now returned with his second EP, HER. A six-track effort, the melodic project is led by the singles “Tricky” and the Big K.R.I.T– guested “Cadillac Dreams.” Take some time out of the day to listen to it below; it’ll be a welcome reprieve from the harshness of reality.

As a bonus, SiR also revealed a video for the EP’s second track, “Queen.”
