Damian Lillard is an NBA All-Star point guard for the Portland Trailblazers. However, over the last several months he has unveiled his alter ego Dame D.O.L.L.A.; a surprisingly gifted rapper with a knack for crafting lyrically dense music.
Dame, who is a native of Oakland, CA, recently participated in Yours Truly and adidas originals’ long-running “Songs From Scratch” series. Teaming with fellow Bay Area native — and all-around music genius-slash-legend — Raphael Saadiq, the two deliver an poignant and uplifting anthem in “Hero.”
