Zoolay – “Respect Your Elders” (prod. Dibia$e) (Video)

Los Angeles-based underground rap crew Zoolay can be best described as a lyric culled from Jean Grae’s Genius cut “#8,” “mostly bubble underground like a soda below some broken rubble.”

Having popped up on the scene a few years ago, Zoolay — comprised of Don Ron and iLLz One — inked a deal with the World Famous Beatnuts’ Pit Fight Records imprint, and has since worked with the likes of Planet Asia, Exile, LMNO, Strong Arm Steady and recently released a 6-track EP titled Still Livin Proof (peep the title track here), which paid homage to Group Home’s debut, 1995 certified classic Livin Proof (produced entirely by DJ Premier).

Now, fresh off releasing their latest album, Undeniable, sparked by the lead single “Bags Packed” featuring DopeHouse everyone’s favorite Blu, Zoolay pays homage to the veterans and legends that paved the way for them on “Respect Your Elders.”
