Following what was arguably the best performance on the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards, Big K.R.I.T. headed to the Northeast to hang out with Sway Calloway on his Shade 45 radio show.
During their 40-minute conversation, Krizzle — only months removed from his epic 12 for 12 series — spoke on the powerful performance, his recent move to become an independent artist (he had been signed to Def Jam since 2010), and much more.
He also dropped a quickstrike freestyle over Bun B’s “Get Low” instrumental (this happens at roughly the 25:51 mark), then debuted another song called “Free Agent” (this happens at about the 34:55 mark).
