Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart’s sexually tense connection is probably not something the world saw coming back in the mid-90s, but here we are in the fucked up world of 2016 on the fringe of the two releasing a television show together.
It seems like they first had their chemistry displayed on national television at the Justin Bieber roast, where she made weed and jail jokes, and he made “I’d still hit it” jokes.
That blossomed into what is now known as Potluck Dinner Party, where I’m sure more weed, jail and “I’d still hit it” jokes will run amuck.
I’m not entirely sure what the premise of the show is — I think it’s just the two personalities cooking and drinking and smoking and talking. VH1 describes it as a “half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits.”
A trailer/commercial for the show debuted a couple days ago featuring Dr. Dre and Snoop’s “The Next Episode,” and it kind of sums up the two roles they’ll have on the show: Martha will be the rock of the conversation and Snoop will do whatever the hell he wants.
And you know what, though? I’m kind of down for it.
Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party debuts Monday, November 7th at 10pm on VH1.
