Jay Prince came to the DopeHouse Tuesday saying he’d drop a new mixtape — Smile Good — on Friday. Now Friday is here, and we have a new mixtape from Jay Prince. Funny how that works.

He described the themes of the album as “having a back-bone and growing through all of your experiences in life” in an interview when he debuted the first single, “Father, Father.”

Across the remaining seven songs, the British rapper calls on Michael Christmas, Danny Seth, Raheaven and Jordan Rakei for help as he offers a sermon on developing your talents and mind to bring out of dark or stagnant places.

Stream the project below, and cop the mixtape on iTunes.
