Rejjie Snow is in one of those small pockets of time where he’s releasing content. Two weeks ago, the Irishman shared a new single, “Pink Beetle,” which followed “D.R.U.G.S.” a month earlier.
This week, Snow shared the visual for his most recent single. It depicted an up-close and uncomfortable look at a trip to the dentist, diving deep into his throat and gums while he raps and huffs laughing gas.
“I wanted to translate the hyperreal imagery that one envisions when thinking about going to the dentist,” Snow told The FADER. “For some, going to the dentist is a treacherous nightmare in which pain & fear can strike over you. This video was born from a conversation I had with a man who hadn’t gone to the dentist in 20 years. Because he was simply afraid.”
