This year has been pretty quiet in the public eye for buzzing Brooklyn band Phony Ppl.
They’ve performed at a string of festival dates this summer, but they haven’t released new music since the end of 2015, where they shared “To Keep The Lights On” and the video for their most popular single, “Why iii Love The Moon.”
This weekend, that streak ended as Phony Ppl shared “This Must Be Heaven” — a blissful re-introduction to what it’s like to listen to the band.
Hopefully this marks the return of a more continuous output.
