Throughout the two-day spectacle that was Complex Con, Pharrell and music supervisor extraordinaire Scott Vener hosted a live broadcast of their Beats 1 Radio show OTHERTone.
With the episode set to air in the near future, P and Scott interviewed special guest Snoop Dogg and following that the two took questions from the audience. Eventually, a member of the crowd asked Pharrell about the possibilities of a new album from him, fellow Neptune Chad Hugo and longtime friend Shay Haley, collectively known as N.E.R.D.
“The answer is yes,” he responded, “when it’s time.”

The rock-tinged outfit dropped have dropped four well-received albums throughout their career: 2002’s In Search Of…, 2004’s Fly or Die, 2008’s Seeing Sounds and 2010’s Nothing. While they reunited for three songs for the soundtrack to the 2015 film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, they’ve remained quiet since.
