Gensu Dean and Roc Marci never miss.
With his Whole Food project with Denmark Vessey still in rotation, the Texas producer is ready to release his next solo project—RAW—later this month.
After teaming up with Diamond D on “Principles & Codes” earlier this month, Gensu calls on Roc Marciano to add some flavor to his sinister production.
“This particular beat was one of those suspense thriller, thought driven, walking a tightrope, intense, yet sinister type joints,” Dean says. “I actually started with the drums on this one, which once I chopped them up in the MPC 3000 it was a wrap! The pattern I programmed for the drums had a different timing, so I was meticulous and relentless when it came to crafting something around it. Upon completion, I could only hear my man Roc splashing lava bars on it.”
