In the midst of his Summer’s Over tour with Jeremih, PartyNextDoor stopped by Power 98 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to give a rare radio interview.

While there, he briefly talked about being signed to OVO and his connection with Jeremih. (He all but confirmed their joint project is for sure happening.)

PND also dug into his songwriting process for himself and others. He said when writing songs for Rihanna, like “Work” and “Sex With Me,” she invited him in her house, he interviewed her on certain topics and got to work. He followed saying writing for other people is easier than writing for himself. He can use his imagination when writing for others while having to be honest 100 percent of the time when he’s making his own songs.
