For a few weeks, Jhené Aiko has been using the hashtag “#MANIAC” in several of her posts on social media. She has since turned her long-running personal Tumblr page into JheneIsAManiac, which reveals a brief visual clip previewing a new song.
She has now released the eponymously-titled single, “Maniac.” It’s Jhené going full raunch, dropping sexually charged gems throughout the song. With her and her TWENTY88 partner Big Sean poised to drop respective solo albums prior to another joint album, this song could serve as the first single from Aiko’s follow-up to Souled Out.
