Prior to guesting on A Tribe Called Quest’s final album We Got It from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, Talib Kweli released the compilation mixtape Awful People Are Great At Parties featuring his Javotti Media artists.
He revisits that project with a visual for “Smoke Somethin’,” with protégé NIKO IS. Putting the socially conscious raps to the left, Kweli and NIKO decide to just spend some of their free time indulging in the higher things in life. Watch below.
