Eric Biddines announces new album, The Local Cafe, dropping January 27th.

Since making his DopeHouse debut in 2014 with a 2Dope To Sleep On feature for his incredible “Railroads Down” video and planetcoffeebean 2 project, the Florida native has remained a favorite around these parts — staying in rotation with countless visuals and his Golden Ticket album with Paul White (as Golden Rules).

Today, Biddines shares a video for “Whole Trunk,” the first single from The Local Cafe. A swampy, bass-heavy anthem with stuttering snares and twanging guitars, “Whole Trunk” is an ode to listening to music at full volume in your car: “It don’t bang unless the whole trunk knock.”

“Having a lot of speakers in your trunk was a cultural thing in South Florida,” Biddines told The Fader. “You were going to get your speakers hooked up in your car before you even cut your grass or got electrical wiring in your house.”
