American music publication Wax Poetics is known for catering their quarterly published magazine to a very niche group of crate diggers and collectors which not only extends to music fans, but devotees of anything print media.

Having already launched their own line of books, Wax Poetics has inked a deal with authors Claude “Paradise” Gray and Giuseppe “u.net” Pipitone who recently published No Half Steppin — an “oral and pictorial history of Latin Quarter” — an NYC staple which played a pivotal role in the emergence of Hip-Hop music and culture during the mid-to-late 80s — and features narration from Hip-Hop legends KRS-One, MC Shan, Eric B., Daddy-O, Fab 5 Freddy, DJ Clark Kent, Kurtis Blow, Grand Puba, Big Daddy Kane, Queen Latifah, Kool G Rap and many more.

“This book gives another great shot in the arm to hip-hop culture with an enjoyable reminder of what we had and our entertainment was also birthed from. Paradise and his group have done an extraordinary job inspiring smiles and memories like our family photo books use to do.” – Christopher “Play” Martin of Kid-N-Play fame
