Atlanta native Tuki Carter has hopped around his Taylor Gang label working closely alongside Wiz Khalifa, Chevy Woods, Ty Dolla $ign and others over the last three years — which is the last time his solo career featured any sort of consistency in its output.
Next month, though, Carter will return with the Tuki Toker mixtape. It’ll have features from Wiz Khalifa, Gangsta Boo, J.R. Donato, Ducko McFli and more.
Today, we’re premiering this first single from Tuki Toker, “Texting & Driving” — a song about making moves on the go, or, as Carter puts it more poetically: “Always juugin’ off my phone.”
The video is just as boisterous as the song. Carter and his friends go berserk to Wavy Wallace’s production, spinning hula hoops and riding tricycles around a room lit up in red.
