Lil Yachty – “Lollipop (Freestyle)”

blame it on Patrick Glynn November 23, 2016

If you haven’t been a fan of Lil Yachty, this one hundred million thousand percent will not turn you into a fan. But if you’ve enjoyed the stylings of Lil Boat before, his new freestyle is just a further dive into the lighthearted, happy-go-lucky nature of the Atlanta artist.

For three minutes, he freestyles (or, tries to) over Korean pop group Big Bang’s “Lollipop,” which I can guarantee 99.87 percent of us — including me — had never heard of before this post.

He freestyled in front of cardboard cutouts of Big Bang, because when you can’t have the real thing, large still images of the artists you’re freestyling over are the next best option.

On top of the “freestyle,” Yachty also tried to rectify disrespecting The Notorious B.I.G, by saying he finally got around to listening to Ready To Die and Life After Death. His thoughts? Well, he’ll share it with Ebro in the Morning next week.
