On the same day Aloe Blacc reunited with Exile as Emanon and released their first project in 11 years (Dystopia), he also dropped one of his few solo songs this year, “Real Slow,” and it slipped under the radar.
The song is produced by DJ Khalil and Sam Barsh, who both also produced Aloe’s “The Man” — one of his most successful mainstream songs of his career. It’s clear “Real Slow” is trying to follow in that realm of mainstream success as the Cali singer imagines a stress-free life of riches with his loving counterpart.
