Producer Salaam Remi has shined brightly throughout his illustrious production career, having laced the likes of Nas, Amy Winehouse, Miguel and countless others throughout his 30 years in the business.
Recently linking with No Panty — the collective of Bodega BAMZ, Joell Ortiz and Nitty Scott, MC — for their Westside Highway Story project, Remi was the latest participant in Mass Appeal’s long-running Rhythm Roulette series. With The Who, George Faith and Danny La Rue as his choices, Salaam proceeds to craft a new beat using the three records as samples (possibly for Joell, who was in attendance as he created it).
