Kodak Black will be able to spend the last month of 2016 with his family and loved ones.

In an Instagram post today (December 1st) Black, née Dieuson Octave, revealed that he has been freed from his South Carolina jail cell after posting a $100,000 bond.

“I’m happy to finally be going home to my family and friends,” said Black in a message. “I look forward to clearing my name in the very near future. I want to thank God, my family, my team (Vanessa, Phatboy and James McMillan), Atlantic Records, my lawyers and all of my fans for your continuous love and support. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love most – working at being the illest rapper alive.”

Florida newspaper, the Sun Sentinel, is reporting that the rapper, who has been imprisoned since April 2016, that he is not in the clear yet. Alongside the sexual assault charge in South Carolina (the rather graphic and cringe-worthy details surrounding the case have also been released), he was promptly shipped to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he will have to complete the yearlong house arrest sentence (plus five years of probation, community service, and take anger management classes) stemming from an outstanding warrant.

Black’s next court date in South Carolina is set for February 8th, 2017.
