NicX is dropping his Tryna Get Home project this Friday. Before the EP sees the light of day, the Atlanta-by-way-of-Cleveland rapper liberates a final single, “Flight 319” — a song dedicated toward hyping his buzzing rap career, much like his last single, “Take It.”

The number 319 details the type of plane NicX took when he flew to New York City and recorded music in the city for the first time. (It’s also the flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles on Southwest, which he may have had to take more than once if label’s have come calling for meetings.)

“I was actually standing on top of a building in New York and felt that I was going through anxiety a little bit,” he told The Hundreds, who premiered the song. “I never thought as a child that I would be doing this. It’s crazy and exhausting but exciting,”
