Man, December 9th has gotta be one of the best release days of the year. Not only is J. Cole and Ab-Soul dropping long-awaited albums, we’re also getting projects from Pro Era’s CJ Fly, Tech N9ne, and a few others.

Deniro Farrar is also on the list with the release of his new Red Book EP.

Following the dueling introspection found on his Mind Of A Gemini mixtape, the North Carolina emcee is using the frustration of the youth and the angst of marginalized groups as the drive behind his latest project — which was inspired by the literature of the Black Panthers and our current state of affairs.

“My inspiration for my Red Book EP was the current state of the world and our people,” Farrar told XXL. “I feel we are lacking a lot of the fundamental tools we need in order to revolutionize. I just want to liberate the minds of the people so that we can come together as one and rise up against the crooked government, all evil and oppression.”
