Freeway‘s debut album, Philadelphia Freeway, turned 13 earlier this year, and while promoting the album overseas in 2003, the ROC Nation signee stopped by Tim Westwood’s radio show (as many do when they hop the pond).
Westwood offered Freeway 50 Cent’s “In da Club” instrumental to freestyle over, which makes sense given that song was the top single in the United States in 2003. While there was no Jay-Z present to whisper “keep going” in his ear, he freestyled for more than four minutes over the Dr. Dre production.
