On May 26, Gucci Mane was unexpectedly released from prison a couple months early. Slimmed down and sober, Guwop quickly got a jumpstart on his official return, though he never really left due to the fact he made millions of dollars off more than 30 projects while in prison. (You can do that when you have as much in the vaults as Gucci did.)

But his services were in demand more than ever once he got out, quickly getting to work with Mike WiLL Made It (“First Day Out The Feds“), Drake (“Back On Road“), Kanye West (“Champions“), Dreezy (“We Gon Ride“) and others.

On top of dropping two albums, Everybody Looking and Woptober, less than five months after getting out, he also appears on the current No. 1 song in the country, Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles.”

To put the star on the 2016 Christmas tree — the tree that’s biggest present is probably Gucci or Anderson .Paak — Guwop delivers his third project of the year, The Return of East Atlanta Santa. It’s the third holiday project from East Atlanta Santa, with one coming in each 2014 and 2015.

Premiered on DJ Khaled’s Beats 1 radio show an hour before its official release, the album has features from Drake (“Both“), Bryson Tiller and Travi$ Scott across its 13 tracks.

Gucci already has tons planned for 2017: at least three more projects (one which will be with Drake), a book deal, a movie he produced will drop. But for now, appreciate The Return Of East Atlanta Santa and Guwop’s incredible 2016 with another project, which you can cop on iTunes, below.
