Monday, the NBA announced John Legend would perform during halftime of the NBA All-Star Game in February.
With performances running all weekend long, though, its now been announced The Roots will make their way to New Orleans to open up the game. They’ll play before the player introductions.
The Roots will brings fans in New Orleans “dynamic journey celebrating the evolution and history of the game of basketball” during their performance, according to Complex, who announced the news.
The All-Star Game in on February 17 at 8 p.m. on TNT.
