Portland’s TOPE has had an active 2016, having produced Slum Village & Cool Nutz’s “Best + Worst Remix,” appearing on “Let It Go” off Blu’s Soul Amazing part 6 and collaborating with a handful of Detroit artists.
To cap off the year, TOPE debuts his latest single, “Thank You,” which is produced by Stewart Villain and also features the soulful vocals of Erikka J and live trumpet provided by Farnell Newton.
According to the rapper/producer, “Thank You” is an ode to the people who have challenged you in life only to make you stronger in the end.” We’ve all interacted with these type of folks before at one point in our lives.
