Following the release of his and Ferrari Sheppard’s album December 99th, Yasiin Bey has begun performing at what he has vowed to be his final shows in the States. Kicking off yesterday (December 21st) at Harlem’s Apollo Theater, Bey brought out the likes of Pharoahe Monch and Slick Rick to join him on stage.
Bey will continue his residency at the Apollo tonight (December 22nd), for his second and final night in New York. He will then travel to Washington, DC for a three-night stint at the Kennedy Center beginning December 31st. For those who were unable to score a ticket to the sold-out affair, TIDAL is offering its members a stream of the entire concert.
