Just when I thought NorCal Nick was finishing the year with the stellar “Can’t 4Get,” the Northern California native comes a week later with his plans for 2017.
“Going Through It (2017 NY Resolutions)” details the shitty year that was 2016 (as I’m writing this, we found out Carrie Fisher, a.k.a. Princess Leia, died) and how you can make next year better. “To spread peace love and honesty, trying to keep up out of poverty, just trying to stay positive,” he raps, noting that it’s hard as shit to do that when everything around you seems to be crumbling. But Nick is trying his best, and so should you.
