After being a month late to his last release (“Buddies“), I’m on top of Quelle Chris’ next song, “Calm Before.” It’s the first single from his upcoming album and early contender for album title of the year, Being You Is Great, I Wish I Could Be You More Often.
“Calm Before” features Cavalier and Suzi Analog and came along with a video, too, which features Chris and Cavalier calmly jiving to their own words of self assurance and confidence. At one point, Chris is rapping with a snake wrapped around him and an alligator in his hands at another time.
