“In the covering of night, darkness is embraced, but when morning comes, it’s a new day.”

Known for her work with the likes of The Game, The Cool Kids, Marion Write, Jamila Woods and Chance the Rapper, the amazingly talented Lorine Chia is here to bring some much needed light on her new EP When Morning Comes.

The Cameroon-born, Atlanta-raised songstress/rapper teamed up with Los Angeles-based producer Romero Mosley and J.P. Floyd (of Blended Babies) for the six-track EP, allowing Chia ample breathing room to demonstrate her incredible vocal range and silky smooth voice, citing influences like J Dilla, Stevie Wonder and Erykah Badu during the recording session of the project — the latter which is immediately apparent upon a first listen.

Stream the EP — featuring a guest appearance from Dungeon Family veteran and respected spoken word artist Big Rube on the track “Find Your Love” — below.
