Larry June – “The Scale” (Video)

As 2016 was winding down, Larry June hit the kitchen and got to work with “The Scale.” Produced by Ryan Hemsworth, the track was a precursor for what’s to come with the upcoming release of Larry TWO.

Now, after kicking off the year with “On Sight” alongside Jay Worthy and Chuck Inglish, the Bay Area rapper/hustler is back with an official video for “The Scale.”

“When I heard the beat I saw a movie. I happened to have my scale in the kitchen at the time and was sipping a big mojito, so I was already in a whole different mind state,” June told The FADER. “People use a scale to weigh food, and also other things. So if the scale is in the kitchen and the police raid the house, you have an excuse to say you were baking a cake the other day.”

Portraying the dealer, the rat and a member of SWAT, June delivers an entertaining video that helps show off how he keeps his illegal activities under wraps.
