After a massive breakout year, Anderson .Paak is showing no signs of slowing down in 2017. And the word is a better place for it.
We’re just ten days in and the mastermind behind Malibu has already covered a Thundercat song with Pharrell, he’s jumped on Bruno Mars’ 24k Magic World Tour, he released a video for NxWorries’ “Sidepiece” and revealed an upcoming collaboration with Flying Lotus.
Now, on the night Obama gave his farewell speech, .Paak took to Twitter to announce his band, The Free Nationals, would be releasing a new album in 2017.
No other information was shared. But while you wait, be sure to watch Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals’ Tiny Desk Concert for NPR.
