With their debut album Nü Religion: Hyena slated to arrive sometime in February 2017, eclectic duo THEY. release the latest offering from the forthcoming project, “U-RITE.”
“We both miss those classic Miami Bass bangers from the 90s,” describes member Dante Jones. “Those were songs that brought our people together and, to this day, make people get out of their seats the moment they come on.” “We were sitting in the studio basically done with the album and Dante was going through sounds and I heard that siren,” adds Drew Love. “I knew we could turn that into a record.”
With a Timbaland co-sign and an experimental “Grunge’N’B” sound to call their own, the track can be heard below.
