After celebrating the 15 year anniversary of his debut solo album H.N.I.C. and the 20th anniversary of Mobb Deep’s The Infamous in 2015, Prodigy spent last year releasing a pair of EPs (Untitled, and Hell Still On Earth with Conway), and dropping an insane BitTorrent bundle that featured tracks with Jay Electronica, 50 Cent, Bun B, and others.

Now, Chef Prodigy is back in the kitchen with a new album The Hegelian Dialectic dropping Friday. Yes, this Friday. In fact, as NahRight points out, the album has been streaming on Pandora since last Friday.

Hegelian dialectic, usually presented in a threefold manner, was stated by Heinrich Moritz Chalybaus as comprising three dialectical stages of development: a thesis, giving rise to its reaction, an antithesis, which contradicts or negates the thesis, and the tension between the two being resolved by means of a synthesis.

With that said, P decides to take it back to 2011 and revisit The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson EP with a video for the Alchemist-produced intro, “The One And Only.”
