Wale and Lil Wayne kicked off the New Year making an appearance on ESPN’s First Take. The two have both made theme songs for sports-themed debate shows in the past — Wale made one for First Take, Weezy made one for Skip Bayless’ rivaling Undisputed — and used the platform to debut a sports-themed collaboration, “Running Back.”
The song will land on Wale’s upcoming album, SHINE. The two recorded a video for the song, as well, so that should see the light of day in the near future.
