Buzzing North Carolina emcee VvG, otherwise known as Verbal van Gogh made his debut here at the DopeHouse last August with the release of his underrated album King T.U.T., and much like his neighbor Erick Lottary, is set to take Hip-Hop’s thriving culture in North Cackalacky to new heights.

For his first offering of the new year, VvG attacks rap clones who constantly appear on your radio station dials, while referencing Tommy Ford (who sadly passed away last year) and his hometown of Foxcroft, Charlotte, NC in “5PM In Foxcroft,” a reimagining of Drake’s “4PM In Calabasas.”

Listen below and keep it locked for more from the North Carolinian.
