The year was 2003. Saddam Hussein, former President of Iraq, is captured during the much-maligned Iraq War. Future Golden Globe- and Oscar-nominated actress Quvenzhané Wallis is born. And The Diplomats were redefining what Harlem hip hop looked and sounded like.

In 2003 Cam’ron, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones were overseas promoting their group’s debut album Diplomatic Immunity, and the three stopped by Tim Westwood‘s radio show for a chat with the personality. Per usual, they were asked to kick some rhymes (over Cam’s own instrumental for “The ROC (Just Fire)”), and what happens next is a vintage Dipset freestyle.
