Volume 33 of our Weekly Dope playlist is here.
For this week’s artwork, I went and made a few adjustments to the Migos’ cover — for the CULTURE — adding Royce 5’9″ (for killing more beats), Missy Elliot (for showing these youngsters how to do their style better), Oddisee (for just being dope as hell, “Like Really“), KXNG Crooked (for showing Kanye how a real emcee should rock the “Real Friends” beat), P.O.S (for kicking death in the face and releasing Chill, dummy like a boss), and a picture of Drake in lipstick and his eyes crossed out (because Jarren Benton is jealous).
On top of that, Kendrick Lamar broke down the heart of a champion for Reebok. Styles P turned the heat up at the Boiler Room. Page Kennedy (yes, “U-Turn” from Weeds) held his own on a banger with King Los, Royce 5’9″ and D12’s Denaun Porter. Gucci Mane took it back to his Shawty Redd days, Pusha T popped up with a disgusting verse, Faith Evans and Jadakiss resurrected The Notorious B.I.G for New York City, and much more. Seriously, this week’s playlist clocks in at 68 tracks!
