Sampha will make his official solo debut to the world this Friday when he releases his debut album, Process. Leading up to the album’s release, he’s released one of the year’s most gorgeous efforts thus far, “(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano” — a song dedicated to mother’s memory and the home she raised him in.
He shared the video for the song today. It stars Adwoa Aboah, who seems to play the mystic, gorgeous and looming presence of Sampha’s mother, who he lost in September 2015. Starting from afar, she walks up and joins him on the bench as he plays the encapsulating and emotional tune.
