Jeremih ended 2016 on a bit of a rough note, as he was removed from his and PARTYNEXTDOOR‘s maligned Summer’s Over Tour. He put it behind him, however, and teamed with fellow Chicagoan Chance The Rapper for the holiday EP Merry Christmas Lil Mama.
He now returns with his first offering of 2017, “I Think Of You.” Featuring his “Living Single” co-conspirator Big Sean and Soulja Boy’s BFF, Chris Brown, “I Think Of You” samples Claudja Barry’s 1976 single “Love for the Sake of Love” (which was used in songs such as Da Brat’s “What’chu Like” and Montell Jordan’s “Get It On Tonite”) and may cause an impromptu two-step session.
